Approached this from the south, on the road to the youth hostel leaving from around 590 m at a small parking place just after a hairpin beyond the house beneath the hill.
Climbed quite steeply to get on the saddle of the hill, skirting around the side of the hill some what. There is no sense going beyond the height of the saddle. Once on the saddle, crossing som quite large slabs of rock, different to the loose and corroded ones up to that point, began making way into the wood before the summit climb. Here it is immediately quite mossy and earthy and there are a couple of rocky mounds to go over. There is a depression to the north. From here, pretty much straight up the steep hill through thick but penetrable forest. Some one has put to red lines on the trees, and these go most of the way to the top in a line due east. They peter out at some point, and we actually missed picking them up again on the way down. There is a little clearing on the top, with good views to certain mountains. The descent much the same way. About 1 hr 15 mins to climb there and much the same on return.
