Antelao is the 2nd highest mountain of the Dolomites (Marmolada is the highest, 3343 m).
I had climb Antelao three times, only one time in winter. It was a nice ski-mountaineering day, and the descent was great!
You must let the skis 150 meters below the summit, because the last part of the ascent is more steep.
Last summer (2014-11-12), a landslide destroyed the bivouac Cosi, which was located 150 m below the top.
This is an amazing day of ski, do it only when the snow conditions are good and safe.
