Very lightly trafficked trail, I met only one trail runner.
The parking is at the left of the sandpit. This sandpit is actively exploited and hikers must park in the designated area near the trailhead or their car will be towed away.

There was a lot of bugs and a modest amount of mud.

The view from the tower is great and I wonder why there is so few hikers on this trail.

The climb isn't technical, there is a stream that must be crossed carefully by walking on some rocks.
