Climbing with a friend, we both bought a staff with an attached bell that was meant to scare off bears that lived in the mountain. Luckily (and in some way unluckily) we didn't see any.
Mid-way on the mountain, there was a small town where on our way back we couldn't find the route we came from and got a little lost. Luckily, there were someone who could help us get on the right track going down.
