I am in the Natural Park of Los Calares del Mundo y la Sima and from Puerto del Arenal begins this path that has brought me closer to these peaks, then I have continued to El mirador de Los Chorros.
The trail ascends almost continuously through mature pine and holm oak forests, the views are really beautiful, some signs warn of wild cattle so you have to sharpen your eyes and ears. La Morra del Navacico is a rocky ridge that I ascend with GPS through the most accessible part. From here I can see the Mesa de Los Charcones mountain that stands out on a beautiful meadow, when going up I have to jump several wire fences that I suppose are used to keep the cattle.
Then it is worth going to the viewpoint.
In total it has been about seven miles between going and coming back.
