Nice hike on our way back to Silver City from Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument. Completely surprised to find a Forest Service helipad at the summit that is dated 1965 according to a geodesic on the pad. A windsock is nearby. Also, what appeared to be the cement foundations of a former forest fire lookout tower is at the summit.
