Overnight camping at Culp Valley Primitive Campground in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. First thing in the morning we went up the well maintained trail to the first lookout point (which is 1000x better than the 'peak' Lookout Point), and then along the not-as-well-maintained trail to this so-called peak. All along amazing view of the desert valley and the Salton Sea in the distance. The last little bit is off the trail; I got as close as I was going to get without crawling through a ton of cacti.
