From the parking area, the trail begins a few steps onto the road, where the hike continues behind a metal barricade on the right. The trail appears to be an old power line utility road that is in rough shape.It follows the power lines in a relative straight line for over a mile. A summit use trail appears to the left, which goes up to the peak. It becomes a bit of a boulder scramble when approaching the summit. Great views from the top. Made a wrong turn on the way back, which added some mileage to the numbers.
