Staying at Monk Coniston (HF Guest House). From Monk Coniston with HF party. Along track to Low Yewdale and along road to Hodge Close By grassy track and path to Little Langdale village. On track towards Elterwater, left through woods, leading on to gently rising quarrymen's track on E side of Lingmoor – it leads between Busk Pike and point 1410'. Then follow watershed to summit of Lingmoor and on to saddle between it and Side Pike. Then down to Blea Moor Road. Walked down road to Wrynose Pass road, returning to Monk Coniston via Tilberthwaite. A little snow on Lingmoor.
