Braved the 4x4 road in a Mazda Protege, and despite a few belly rubs, the car made it up and down in one piece! The actual hike was short, fairly direct and gained elevation at a solid but not exceptionally difficult rate. The cabin was also quite a treat and offers quite a large room for shelter should you decide to spend a night.

The trip took roughly 4 hours including the summit at a relaxed pace.
