We make a beautiful and demanding route inside the Caldera de Taburiente National Park, the weather has improved today after the passage
of a cold storm that has left snow and frost on the highest peaks.
This place is a biosphere reserve and has remained almost intact for thousands of years. The paths are narrow and are surrounded by deep ravines, so it is advisable to respect the signs so as not to get lost or have an accident. It is surprising that some birds approach with some curiosity as if they were not afraid of humans. In some sections, prismatic basalt columns from ancient volcanic eruptions are visible.
From some point on the route we have seen the Tajogaite Volcano that was recently in the news on the Island of La Palma and that still emits fumaroles from time to time.
