I wanted to hike to the top of this peak for a while, but I always end up on some other higher peaks at the end. Today after the storm decided to go for it. Started at the Ka'ala trailhead, and looking at the top map, tried to get to it the easiest way I can. At one point the bushwhack started in nasty california grass territory, but I found kind of a hunter trail, which I followed all the way to the top.
The way back instead of taking the same ugly trail,I tried total a shortcut straight down. Actually it wasn't that easy, but managed to get everything done in less then an hour.
