Kedhros is rarely climbed, like many Greek mountains the summit is a fractured massif rather than a distinct peak. I had some difficulty finding a route to the top and made several abortive attempts, I reached what I thought was the summit a couple of days earlier, it was only when checking my GPS later that I realised I had been 50m short of the summit so had to return again get to the summit. Confusingly there is a stone chapel on the false peak so it is easy to miss the true peak which is a further 20 mins walk. It's a relatively easy walk to the summit, no technical skills required and no scrambling. Route finding is via E4 signs which can be difficult to spot in some places. Kedhros is the Southern flank of Crete's beautiful Amari valley
