Start at Pulpit Rock Winery. Sign the register at the wine tasting bar and take a complimentary map. (Opens at 10am). The trail is free of charge. Map and route are not great. (Expect to bundu bash). The map indicates a 1.9km distance, whereas the summit is actually 3km. (Round trip 6km and approx 3 and a quarter hours to complete). The path has red arrows and some cairns, but very easy to loose the path. The summit has a white trig beacon and two radio masts and some solar panels. At 948 odd meters climb, this is not an easy hike, with a fair amount a scrambling close to the summit.
