Both Jarosa and Santa Clara Mesa are easily seen from Interstate 25, just west of Wagon Mound. Both mountains are on unposted private property so go quietly and respectfully. I parked off NM-120 north of Santa Clara Mesa, hopped the fence and hiked towards the saddle between the two mesas then veered toward Jarosa Mesa, gaining its east side. The highpoint is a bump on the mesa marked with a survey marker, there's also a benchmarker nearby. Returned via the same route to the saddle north of Santa Clara Mesa which I also climbed before returning to my vehicle.
