Bruce and Alex made the 1st summit at 17,066 across the glacier that was treacherous in late May with black ice and marbly stones. Pemba made it to the stomach. Vicente could've gone all the way but stayed with me on the south summit at 16,540 feet where I hunkered down on the ground next to the ruins of camp 2 because the wind was brutally threatening to take me off of my feet. This is a tough objective and also one of the best days of my life.
