Did this one out Christmas shopping. I'm logging this in 2018, so I forgot I had done it entirely, one of the first I ever hiked in a spur-of-the-moment. I was also a bit sick during that time and ran out of water on the drive back, kinda uncomfortable sore throat. There were people shooting into one of the other hillsides from the approach road; I imagine there are people out there shooting most days. Driving out to Guffey Butte reminded me I had done this one, as it is one of the most prominent land marks along the way.
