Continued up from East Pinnacle on this 90° very humid day with Kelly. The better than forecasted breeze on the summits made for a pleasant hike to this and the East Pinnacle prior. This Berea College recreational area is only a 1 1/2 hr. drive from Louisville and rewards hikers with some of the best views in Kentucky. I followed the nearby herd path to the actual high point but couldn't locate any markers. Rescued a family of newborn kittens from a hollowed out tree stump on the way back since Kelly has connections with the animal shelter.
