Drove to the locked gate on Mt Toorongo Track to park. Walked up the track and climbed to the summit of Peak 1258 m VK3/VT-026. Set up the radio gear and made 21 contacts before packing up and heading back down to the car. Drove to Noojee and then towards Powelltown to The Bump, then north on Big Creek Road to park near the junction with Black Sands Road. Climbed up though the logging coupe to reach the summit of Hyde Hill VK3/VC-008. Set up the gear and made 20 contacts. Packed up and walked back to the car and then headed home.
