First leg of our Easter 2023 trip was Backbone Mountain - Maryland Highpoint. We started early and left PA, getting to the MD highpoint around 8/9am. Hiked up, carved our names in the trees, snacked and Lu made cairns at the summit. We climbed trees and jogged back down to the car and headed out to Blackwater Falls State Park, WV. Great time was had by all.
