Gina hiked short out-and-backs from both ends and provided shuttle back to Snake Creek Gap while the rest of us hiked the Pinhoti Trail from Snake Creek Gap Parking Lot to Pilcher's Pond Parking Lot with short light to moderate bushwhacks to two high points on the north end of Horn Mountain. Open Topo Map seems to indicate that the northernmost of these two is higher, but I could not prove it.
