Leading Cairngorm Club meet. From Winnebachsee Hütte. The day started with mist down to the level of the hut. We set off for Westfalenhaus on a path which deteriorated into scree and mud. From the top of the ridge there was supposed to be a way down onto the glacier on the other side. I had to search before finding a line down. The glacier did not have any crevasses. I and some members of the party made the ascent of Hoher Seeblaskogel. We descended on the glacier in a series of glissades and caught up the other members of the party. One member of the party got out of control and scraped himself on rocks. Fortunately it was only a minor injury.
