Not quite ready to transition back into normal Washington weather, I headed east of the Cascade Crest. The trails were full of hunters, most of whom I encountered seemed rather upset about the noise my dogs and I were making, but that's better than being mistaken for game! I planned on continuing to Lookout Mountain and maybe Mt Clifty, but began experiencing knee pain en route and called it a day. At least I didn't miss out on much of a view.
