Parked at the Willis Palms Trailhead off 1000 Palms Canyon Rd. I bypassed Willis Palms and headed up the wash toward Herman’s Peak. After the peak, I formed a semi-loop by returning through the canyon and through Willis Palms before concluding the hike.
