This was my first trip to HalfDome. We started at 7am from The Valley (Upper Pines). We took our sweet time, arriving at the top around 4pm. Then we proceeded to come down in the dark. We met a new friend who shared his flashlight, and we came down, 6 of us with 2 flashlights.
