After discovering the South Peninsula list. I decided to summit three peaks in close proximity to each other with a buddy I had run the 3 Peaks Challenge with two weeks prior. The obvious route was to run the length of the Pipe Track and head up Corridor Ravine in order to the summit the back table from where all three can easily be reached. The first peak we tagged was Grootkop to which is about two kilometers further south of Corridor Ravine. The weather had been on and off. Rain was forecast and rain had fallen. It looked set to clear but once we summited Grootkop we were caught in a downpour. luckily the peak it riddled with caves and taverns and we managed to find shelter until the worst had past.
