NoBo AT Thru Hike 2016.

Got a message from Kim yesterday. Unfortunately, I was out hiking and was actually at the summit of Gore Mountain in NY with my sister since it was her final summit to complete the Fire Tower Challenge. Kim said she was at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, not sure if she was staying there overnight or if she continued on. She picked up a box that I mailed out at the NOC and a brand new tent from MSR as the one she was using had a defect on the rainfly (Thanks MSR!). Next stop and mail drop is at Fontana Dam and it doesn't appear that there are any peaks between the NOC and Fontana Dam. I expect an update from her when she gets to Fontana Dam in the next day or two.
