A slightly overcast morning gave through to a breezy, sunny afternoon. I hiked the Grassy Knoll trail to Grassy Knoll, then on to the PCT and then up Big Huckleberry Mountain, returning the same way. Views of Mount Adams and Mt. Hood in both directions, only saw 3 other groups of hikers and they were encountered after I passed Grassy Knoll on the way back. 18.5 km round trip in just over 5 hours.
