Broke in my new trail shoes with Sara. Part of the western loop was closed for hunting but was able to go off trail a bit to bag the peak of Grassy Hill. Beautiful views of the historic mountain music town of Rocky Mount and Ferrum College. On the other side of this small mountain, beautiful views of the valley and Cahas Mountain.
