ACC trip to Wheeler hut. went up the steep (sooooo many kickturns) summer route and reached the summit. Skied the W face directly down, through steepish (35-48 degrees) open slopes, then through pillows and into the trees. Top was bit wind affected, released several sluffs of the reactive top foot of snow. Minimal avi concerns below TL.
