It was an easy climb through the Gawahon Northwest Ridge, the route which Pedro Palabrica and I utilized for the first known ascent by mountaineers of the Gawahon summit. Since Palabrica was a member of this 4-member party, this climb was our reunion climb after close to a year of our maiden ascent of Gawahon on October 2,1998. Our main goal for this climb was the placement of a marker on the summit.
