Early afternoon walk, didn't carry but fluids. Not cold, not hot. Fairly easy climb, lots of other climbers, even quite a few seniors. We took our 8 and 6 year-olds up: no complaints. Lots of loose rock on the trail and off the cliff. A couple points with really high cliffs off the edge of trail that would plummet anyone to eternity. Breathtaking views of Crater Lake and the Cascades.
