Left the parking lot mid-morning and made it to the Frosty Creek Camp a couple hours later where we set up. The first stretch of the trail is mostly tree-covered, and the campsite itself is quite lovely. There's a shelter, bear caches, and an outhouse here, along with a creek we used for water. We heard that this creek can dry up, but fortunately it was still flowing for us. Set out around 8a.m. the next morning for the peak, and summited a few hours later. The final push up the ridge was quite grueling, lots of boulder climbing and quite exposed, but the views were stunning, and slow and steady got us through. Return trip was much quicker, but we had to be careful with loose rocks rolling out from under us on our descent. Once off the ridge the going was much quicker, and especially so from the camp site back down to the parking lot. All in all, a fantastic trip.
