Solo. Parked where Pennine Way comes in from the east to meet road at SD852723. Followed the Pennine Way to a high point NE of the summit of Fountains Fell. Followed a path that goes somewhat S of the wall to the summit. Went S to meet wall and follow it to South Top. Went back to summit of Fountains Fell – now very misty. Followed alternative path beside the wall to reach Pennine Way and so back to my starting point.
