A section of solitude along the AT and with a surprisingly epic view. The forest was full of wildflowers and greenery. Although warm in the sun, the canopy provided for cool running. A beautiful out-and-back section that I had never been on. The climb is rather gentle as I started pretty high up at Sunset Field.
