Steep ascent via Karls way to Cerro Del Aripo. 2 hour steep ascent. Camped on Cerro Del Aripo then pushed onto El Pico Escondido. Stunning views to the West and East of the Guanpo valley and Aripo valley.
Very tight forest with no clean lines to the summit. Heavy tree fall from past storms made the ascent difficult and slow.
