Parked off CR-C014 not far from US-54, south of Duran. Hiked in a general NW direction to the mesa. The top is fairly flat, especially around the "highpoint". Trying to figure out the exact point is difficult. From the summit of Duran Mesa I hiked south to Peak 6850. That mountain top is also flat. Headed straight to my vehicle from there.

Exact highpoint location is difficult to pinpoint as the area is fairly flat. I accessed the peak from County Road C014 which is off US-54 south of the small village of Duran. The land is privately owned, is a working ranch, but is not posted so be respectful, proceed on foot only even if gates are open and don't carry weapons or take a pet. The hike from the intersection of CR-C014 and US-54 is about 3 miles one way to the highpoint.
