Was planning on hiking this and Blanco Mountain as part of our first time in the Ancient Bristlecone Forest. Started down the backside of this and realized hiking through the knee high sage brush would have kept us out far longer than we wanted and so we hiked back up this peak all over again. Two climbs one day, haha.
