9 months in Arizona and I finally got it good from a Cholla. Took 30 minutes to get all the spines from my leg. Descent scrambling on granite was somewhat ruined by brush. Easiest and least brushy route is probably the NW slope.

Ouch! I was just complaining about Spanish Bayonets this weekend; nothing compared to cholla though!

Those are pretty bad too haha. Looks like you've been keeping busy exploring the San Gabriels, such a fantastic range so close to LA.
