One of my favorite hikes of all time. Snow, ice pellets, biting wind for the first two miles, but so beautiful. Moderate temperatures and sun from there to the top. After heading over to the Jumpoff and back, we stopped to chat with thru hikers at the Icy Spring Shelter. We managed to have the view from Charlies Bunion almost to ourselves, which I've heard is hard to come by. And for good reason--what a view!
