Includes all peaks along the 81.8-mile Georgia section of the Benton MacKaye Trail. It partially follows a route proposed by MacKaye for the Appalachian Trail. From its southern terminus on Springer Mountain, the Benton MacKaye Trail leaves the Appalachian Trail, crosses it twice at Rich Mountain, joins it at Three Forks, leaves it again at Long Creek Falls, and crosses into Tennessee south of Big Frog Mountain. Note that the Benton MacKaye Trail continues 205.8 miles through Tennessee/North Carolina; see the Tennessee/North Carolina Benton MacKaye Trail Peak Challenge for peaks along that portion: https://peakery.com/challenges/tennessee-north-carolina-benton-mackaye-trail-peak-challenge/
