"Quick training hike to make sure I had the juice to attempt Thompson Peak. Went with Megan Lacy, who ran the whole thing and a little extra. The top of the peak has, sadly, been a victim of fire this year. Here's to hoping it recovers well next year" — robkleffner • Aug 20, 2018
"Second time at the summit. Went out in the heat of the day, which wasn't the best idea, but there was a light breeze along the ridge at least. Super clear skies, even over the valley somewhat. Estimated the distance better this time, looks like it's about a half mile longer round trip than I estimated the first time." — robkleffner • Jun 30, 2018
"Interesting day: the morning was hot and dry but the afternoon was cool and windy! Cold front moved in and we got to see a towering dust storm move across the valley. After that it was windy until we got back to lower elevations. Made it to the summit with Brady Liles. My second time summiting!" — robkleffner • Jun 9, 2018
"Conquered the Trail of False Summits. Made it to the true summit with Brady Liles. Very clear day, great views of the higher snowy peaks surrounding the area. Snagged the summit of Peak 6137 (prom ~241)" — robkleffner • Apr 21, 2018
"Second time summiting Cervidae Peak this year (the first one was on April 3). Great conditioning hike (just under 3 hours) near Boise with about 2000 ft elevation gain during 3 miles round trip." — iddayhiker • Jul 4, 2011
