7th attempt today and finally got it via the Beckey chimney route. Both chimneys converge at the base. Took the left chimney. Class 3 scramble with some difficulties. The right chimney looks easier but has roofs that are rough to pass-- class 5 with exposure. The left chimney splits at the very top. To the left is a steep climb and to the right is a mossy ramp. I've always gone to the right. The left chimney empties onto the upper saddle. Access to the lower saddle is needed. A twenty foot rappel or non-obvious downclimb will work. Once on the lower saddle an obvious gully leads almost to the summit. A rope isn't needed after the saddle. At the top of the obvious gully there is a small knob that needs to be climbed or traversed beneath. After that it just a quick walk to the summit. Left truck at 5:15 AM. On summit at 9:30 AM. Spent 30 minutes on top and started down. 70M rope. 5ish raps down left chimney. Back to truck at 3 PM. 3.5K gain.
