Near the top of the mountain there's a electronic site so a road provides access close to the summit. I no longer have details of the hike but I recall a trail from elec. site get you started before having to breakaway and bushwhack through oak scrub to a rock that marked the HP. To get to the mountain, turn-off US-84 in Abiquiu onto Polvadera Road (FR-31) then onto FR-27 and finally FR-426.
