One of my favorite places to run as there are quite a few trails that go up, down, and across the mountain. No longer can you hike or run to the actual peak as it is private property (Carters Mountain Orchard). Jefferson's Monticello is on the same mountain. Roughly 20 minutes to the top running. About 45 minutes hiking.
