I decide to go to the lands of Bullas and Cehegín and the day is quite hot with about 91 degrees Fahrenheit. Near Carrascalejo are the oldest wine cellars in the area, I have no path to climb and the pine trees and thorny bushes are abundant. At the top a wild boar snorts angrily and I realize that I am in its roost so I take some photos and go down the slope. I then approach the noble and historic city of Cehegín, to climb the Peñarrubia peak, on this mountain there were red marble quarries, currently abandoned. The landscape has changed since the last time I was here, there are many almond tree plantations and some pine trees have grown quite a bit. At the top there is a more pleasant breeze and the views are good despite the haze. I see some fossils trapped in red marble and some native spiders running between the stones.
