With Jonathan Bellarby. From the car park at the head of Glen Nevis. We went up beside Allt Coirie Eoghainn, then crossed it and up the east ridge of Carn Dearg. Proceeded to the other Carn Dearg and went up to the summit of Ben Nevis. There were impressive views of cliffs. The entire ascent of Ben Nevis was done wearing shorts, boots and socks only! We went to the top of Observatory Ridge and along Carn Mor Dearg Arête to Carn Mor Dearg and Carn Mor Meadhonach. I nipped up Carn Beag Dearg before we went back to Carn Mor Dearg and down the east ridge. We went down beside Allt Coire Giubhsachen to Steall and the end of the road. It was a fine and warm day with a gentle breeze.
