This hike was very fun. I also hiked to Pfifer Falls on this day. The forest is super thick. For some reason, the forest got thinner on the ridge near Buzzard's Roost. It was very hot, as I estimate it was 110 degrees on the summit. I bathed my face in the Big Sur River by the trailhead and drove home to LA, which was a 6 hour drive.
