What a great day for a hike. Six great friends, two dogs, and a lot of laughs. The weather was perfect for a summer hike. We were on the trail. by 8:30 and at the end of the blue blazed trail and eating lunch by 10:30. The chimney was a bit interesting with the two dogs. but very do-able with a little help from below. I don't think we reached the peak labeled on this site. but my old map shows the mountain as having three peaks. The trail after the chimney was hard to follow in some places so we blazed it up with pretty pink ribbon. The old blue blazes were very faded and hard to see. We met no one else on this trail which is the way we like it when hiking with the dogs.
