Solo winter hike after dropping my son off at UMASS. Five degrees plus a wind chill at start of hike. My camera phone died from the cold a mile in before I had a chance to take any pictures (luckily it recharged OK once back to the car). Using the map found at http://eco.umass.edu/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Mt.-Toby.pdf was able to create a loop hike of approx 6.75 miles. Great time of year for this one with no bugs, the marsh areas all frozen over and lots of views with the lack of leaves on the trees.
